Today a resolution by U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA) and U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA) congratulating the University of Washington men's soccer team on winning the 2025 NCAA Division I National Championship unanimously passed the United States Senate.
The 2025 UW men's soccer team won the school's first-ever men's soccer national championship on December 15, 2025, with a 3-2 overtime win against North Carolina State University.
