Today, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA), ranking member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation and senior member of the Finance Committee, announced that grants for 50 important community projects across Washington state were included in the final version of the third FY 2026 minibus appropriations bill, which passed the Senate today.
The appropriations package includes five spending bills that were negotiated on a bipartisan, bicameral basis and together represent 95% of the remaining budget for fiscal year 2026: Defense; Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies; Transportation, Housing and Urban Development...
