BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT ISSUES RULE: RESCISSION OF REGULATIONS REGARDING MINING CLAIM PAYMENTS

WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Bureau of Land Management has issued a rule called: Rescission of Regulations Regarding Mining Claim Payments.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 17 by Adam G. Suess, Acting Assistant Secretary, Land Minerals Management.

Summary: This direct final rule rescinds a portion of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) regulations that authorize declining balance accounts with the BLM concerning mining claims.
