BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT ISSUES RULE: RESCISSION OF REGULATIONS REGARDING MINING CLAIM PAYMENTS; WITHDRAWAL

WASHINGTON, Sept. 2 -- Bureau of Land Management has issued a rule called: Rescission of Regulations Regarding Mining Claim Payments; Withdrawal.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 2 by Adam G. Suess, Acting Assistant Secretary, Land Minerals Management.

Summary: The Bureau of Land Management is withdrawing a duplicate direct final rule regarding regulations that authorize declining balance accounts with the BLM concerning mining claims, which published on July 17, 2025.
