WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Bureau of Land Management has issued a rule called: Rescission of Regulations Regarding Leasing of Solid Minerals Other Than Coal and Oil Shale.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 17 by Adam G. Suess, Acting Assistant Secretary, Land Minerals Management.

Summary: This direct final rule rescinds portions of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) regulations that address the Leasing of Solid Minerals Other Than Coal and Oil Shale-Areas Available for Leasing and Hardrock Mineral Development Contracts; Processing and Milling Arrangements.
