The notice was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 17 by Douglas Vilsack, BLM Colorado State Director.
Summary: Pursuant to the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, as amended by the Federal Coal Leasing Amendments Act of 1976, and the Department of the Interior's regulations, all interested, qualified parties are hereby invited to participate with Blue Mountain Energy, Inc, on a pro rata cost-sharing basis, in this program for the exploration of coal deposits owned by the United States of America in Rio Blanco County, Colorado.
