WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- Sen. Ted Budd issued the following op-ed:
U.S. Senator Ted Budd (R-N.C.), Member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, joined Chairman Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and several other Committee Members in sending a letter to National Security Advisor Marco Rubio last week, urging him to review the Biden administration's vetting process of Afghan nationals. The failed vetting process of Afghan nationals following the disastrous August 2021 withdrawal resulted in egregious security threats toward American servicemen and citizens.
