U.S. Senator Ted Budd (R-N.C.), member of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, joined U.S. Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) in introducing the bipartisan National Quantum Initiative Reauthorization Act to help maintain American leadership and competitiveness in the global technology race. The legislation would authorize five years of support for quantum research and development (R&D) funded through federal science agencies.
