Bernalillo County - Bernalillo County Manager Julie Morgas Baca announced her intent to retire after 33 years of public service which included nine years as county manager.
County Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada will introduce a resolution at the March 19 Bernalillo County Commission meeting to establish an open and transparent public process in the selection of the next county manager.
The proposed process would include securing a professional recruitment firm by the end of March, conducting a series of town hall meetings in each commission district to gather input and establish an online stakeholder survey through the month of April....
