U.S. Congressman Andy Barr (KY-06) secured $96,192 in federal funding to modernize equipment for the Harrodsburg Police Department as part of the Closing the Technology Gap initiative. Barr secured the funding through the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026. He voted for the appropriations package earlier this month and President Trump recently signed the funding bill into law.
