Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) voted to pass five bipartisan full-year funding bills, keep the government open, and set a two-week deadline to negotiate a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that delivers accountability and puts commonsense guardrails on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Included in the bipartisan package of funding bills is Senator Baldwin's legislation (https://www.baldwin.senate.gov/news/press-releases/baldwin-releases-bill-to-fund-labor-health-and-education-departments-for-fiscal-year-2026) to fund the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education.
