Today, at a Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing titled "The Future of Retirement," U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA)-a senior member and former chair of the HELP Committee-questioned witnesses on how Trump administration policies and Republicans' One Big Beautiful Bill Act have undermined seniors' ability to afford health care and other basics, and receive the Social Security benefits that they earned.
