Congresswoman Uifa'atali Amata is welcoming a new $171,272 federal grant from the U.S Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to strengthen Maternal and Child Health Services in American Samoa. The grant, awarded through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), supports the American Samoa Department of Public Health from 2025 to 2027, and vital services for mothers, infants, and young children.
