WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- Agricultural Marketing Service has issued a proposed rule called: Revising U.S. Standards for Grades of Lemons.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 11 by Erin Morris, Administrator, Agricultural Marketing Service.

Summary: The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) of the Department of Agriculture (USDA) proposes to revise the U.S. Standards for Grades of Lemons by adding the term "seedless lemons." In addition, AMS proposes to incorporate marking requirements for lemons meeting the seedless definition.
