Accompanied by Charminar MLA Mir Zulfeqar Ali, Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Gautami, and Director of Archaeology Arjuna Rao, the Minister visited the Charminar precinct and Chowmahalla Palace, reviewing ongoing conservation and development works.Highlighting restoration efforts, he said the Quli Qutb Shah Urban Development Authority (QQSDA) has sanctioned Rs 3.64 crore for the renovation of the historic Machli Kaman, with tenders to be floated shortly. He also directed officials to take up restoration of Sher-e-Batil Kaman and beautify the fountain near Charminar to enhance the visitor experience.Krishna Rao said tourism development across the State is being streamlined under the new Tourism Policy, with a focus on adopting a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to improve infrastructure, boost revenue and generate sustainable employment for local communities.Reiterating the government's commitment to preserving Hyderabad's rich heritage, the Minister said special master plans are being prepared to position the city as a premier global tourist destination.He stressed the need to balance conservation of historic structures like Chowmahalla Palace with the creation of modern amenities to cater to growing domestic and international tourist inflow.हैदराबाद 15 अप्रैल (वार्ता) तेलंगाना सरकार हैदराबाद के प्रतिष्ठित विरासत स्थलों को विश्व स्तरीय पर्यटन स्थलों में बदलने के लिए पूरी तरह तैयार है। राज्य के पर्यटन और संस्कृति मंत्री जुपल्ली कृष्णा राव ने बुधवार को शहर के प्रमुख ऐतिहासिक स्थलों का निरीक्षण करने के बाद यह जानकारी दी।
मंत्री ने चारमीनार क्षेत्र और चौमहला पैलेस का दौरा कर वहां चल रहे संरक्षण और विकास कार्यों की समीक्षा की। इस दौरान उनके साथ चारमीनार के विधायक मीर जुल्फिकार अली और पर्यटन विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी मौजू द थे।
उन्होंने संरक्षण के प्रयासों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए बताया कि कुली कुतुब शाह शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण ने ऐतिहासिक 'मछली कमान' के नवीनीकरण के लिए 3.64 करोड़ रुपये मंजूर किए हैं, जिसके लिए जल्द ही निविदाएं जारी की जाएंगी। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने अधिकारियों को 'शेर-ए-बातिल कमान' के जीर्णोद्धार और चारमीनार के पास स्थित फव्वारे के सौंदर्यीकरण के निर्देश दिए ताकि पर्यटकों के अनुभव को बेहतर बनाया जा सके।
