Zverev gains insight from Nadal family in Mallorca
Toronto, July 29 -- Germany's world number three Alexander Zverev has revealed details of a deeply insightful 10-day stint in Mallorca with Rafael Nadal's family, where he received guidance from the legendary Spaniard and his uncle and former coach, Toni Nadal.
Zverev, who recently defeated Nadal in the first round of the 2024 French Open and is the last player to beat the 22-time Grand Slam champion at Roland Garros, shared that the stay was initiated by a "long voice message" from Toni shortly after Wimbledon. The message led to an extended training and mentorship period at the Nadal Academy.
