Dimapur, Sept. 25 -- Zunheboto deputy commissioner Dharam Raj today issued a strong warning against the rampant and unauthorised collection of money on the pretext of student registration fees from non-indigenous inhabitants in Zunheboto town.
In an official notice, the DC stated that such practices by individuals or organisations are illegal and constitute a punishable offence.
He cautioned that strict action will be taken against any individual or organisation found engaging in such unlawful activities.
The DC further clarified that the verification of inner line permit (ILP) will be strictly carried out only by the district administration or other authorised government agencies.
