Aizawl, April 17 -- The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC), V. Zirsanga, on Thursday tabled the annual budget for the 2025-2026 fiscal year amounting to Rs 263.34 crore.
Presenting the budget on the opening day of the special and budget session held at Lawngtlai, Zirsanga said the proposed outlay marked an increase of Rs 13.92 crore compared to the previous year.
Of the total estimate, the LADC anticipates Rs 257.51 crore in grants-in-aid, Rs 1.82 crore towards village council remuneration, and Rs 4 crore in revenue from local taxes and other sources.
