Bulawayo, July 8 -- Zimbabwe's Kundai Matigimu was punished followed a breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct during the second Test against South Africa.
Kundai Matigimu has been fined 15 percent of his match fees for a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct during the opening day of the ongoing second Test against South Africa in Bulawayo.
The incident occurred during the 72nd over of South Africa's first innings, when Matigimu fielded a ball in his follow-through and threw it at batter Lhuan-de Pretorius, hitting him on the wrist at close range.
Based on the incident, Matigimu was found to have breached Article 2.9 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which pertains to "throwing a ball (or any ...
