Kolkata, Dec. 19 -- The EEPC India has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal for successfully concluding the landmark Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) with Oman during their visit to the southwest asian nation.
EEPC India chairman Pankaj Chadha in a statement on Friday said the signing of the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is a significant development.
The free trade pact paves the way for zero-duty access for Indian engineering goods in Oman once the agreement comes into effect.
"This is yet another key trade deal that will help the engineering industry diversify and deepen its presence in the export market, " he pointed out.
