Kolkata, Dec. 13 -- Chaos unfolded at the Yuva Bharati Krirangan, as irate fans broke chairs and threw plastic water bottles and other items onto the ground on Saturday after being unable to catch a proper glimpse of soccer magician Messi, despite having paid astronomical amounts for tickets.
The Messi show here, part of the first leg of the Argentine soccer star's four-city India tour, descended into a virtual free-for-all as Messi left the ground after a brief 22-minute stay. Organising officials had earlier promised that Messi would be on the ground for over an hour.
