Dhaka, March 27 -- Chief Adviser of the Bangladesh's interim government, Prof. Muhammad Yunus on Thursday left for China to meet President Xi Jinping and other leaders and with an aim to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in economic and other sectors.

During his visit, Prof Yunus will address the Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan, southern China - an annual conference focusing on the changing role of Asia.

His bilateral meeting with Xi Jinping is scheduled on Friday.
