Vijayawada, March 21 -- YSRCP Panchayat Raj Wing State President Vennapoosa Ravindra Reddy on Friday slammed the Andhra Pradesh Government for the alleged corruption in the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS), as it favours coalition party leaders over the rural poor.

He revealed Rs. 820 crore in wages for 72 workdays remained unpaid since January 9, criticising the coalition's neglect of workers.

Ravindra Reddy attacked Minister Pawan Kalyan for lacking control and understanding of NREGS, ignoring misuse, while making baseless claims against YSRCP.

He cited a Central audit showing 6.38% corruption during TDP's 2014-19 tenure, with Rs. 5,940 crore siphoned off via fake farm ponds and Rs. 5,000 crore misappropriated unde...
