Vijayawada, Oct. 13 -- A delegation of YSR Congress Party leaders, led by Araku MP Dr. Tanuja Rani, met National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairperson Justice V. Ramasubramanian in New Delhi today and sought a special investigation into the jaundice (Hepatitis-A) outbreak and the death of two tribal students at the Kurupam Gurukul School in Parvathipuram Manyam district in Andhra Pradesh.
The delegation urged the NHRC to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the incident and ensure justice for the victims. The NHRC Chairperson responded positively and assured that the issue would be taken up for inquiry.
