Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), May 29 -- YSRCP senior leader and former minister Vidala Rajani condemned Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's decision to privatize medical colleges, selling assets worth Rs 8,500 crore for Rs 5,000 annually.

Addressing a press conference in the state office at Tadepalli near here on Thursday, Rajani called the 66-year lease a conspiracy to hand over public institutions to private entities.

She demanded that the Chandrababu Naidu-headed government immediately reverse this decision and warned that YSRCP would not stay silent. "When the YSRCP comes to power, it will review this policy," she said.
