Darbhanga, Aug. 30 -- Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Junaid Alam today remanded Mohammad Rizvi alias Raja to 14 days judicial custody in connection with the case related to the use of objectionable words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from a Congress stage during the Voter Rights Yatra.

The court sent him to Darbhanga Divisional Jail under judicial custody until September 11.

Mohammad Rizvi alias Raja, son of Anish Qureshi and a resident of Bhapura village, Bhawanipur Panchayat (Ward No. 1) under Singhwara police station was arrested for allegedly using objectionable words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from a Congress stage during the Voter Rights Yatra.
