Sant Kabir Nagar, Aug. 19 -- A shocking incident took place in Sant Kabir Nagar district when a youth who was having beer with friends to celebrate his purchase of a new Thar SUV was fatally shot in the chest.
The incident occurred around 9 PM on Monday near Bhuvarya in the Khalilabad area.
The victim, identified as Ayush from Patkhauli village, was critically injured and later declared dead at the district hospital.
According to police reports, Ayush had gone out to meet friends and was seen at HRPG College earlier in the evening. After having tea together, the group set out in Ayush's newly-purchased black Thar.
Around three kilometers from the city, the vehicle was stopped near the highway where the group reportedly consumed beer....
