Bhubaneswar, Oct. 13 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today emphasized that India's youth must acquaint themselves with the nation's rich heritage of knowledge, culture, and glorious history.

Majhi said India, despite enduring centuries of foreign invasions, has successfully preserved its ancient wisdom and traditions.

"It is everyone's responsibility to protect and sustain this heritage," he said, adding that safeguarding a nation's ancient wisdom is a shared duty of every civilization.

The Chief Minister was addressing a roundtable discussion on Indian Knowledge Traditions in the Context of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, organized at the Central Sanskrit University, Puri.
