Latehar, Jan. 4 -- A youth was killed in a wild elephant attack in the Chhipadohar police station area of Latehar on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Muneshwar Korwa, a resident of Matnag village under Ked Panchayat.
According to villagers, Muneshwar Korwa was returning home through a forest route after shopping at Ked Chowk when he encountered a herd of wild elephants. He was surrounded and fatally attacked on the spot.
