Malappuram, Oct. 19 -- In a tragic incident, a 35-year old youth was killed by his friend by using a grass cutter machine (hedge trimmer) at Charakavu near Manjeri, today.
According to police, the deceased was identified as Praveen (35) of Chanthangottapuram.
Manjeri police arrested Moidheenkutty of Charakavu in this connection and launched an investigation. Moideenkutty and Praveen, are also friends and employed as grass cutters.
The incident took place around 0645 hrs, when Praveen and his friend Surendran, both of them are grass cutting workers and were on the way to their workplace in separate motorbike and scooter.
