Kasganj (UP), Sept. 12 -- A 21-year-old youth was found hanging from the ceiling at his girlfriend's house at Rahmatpur Mafi village under Dholna police station limits. The deceased's family has accused the girl's side of murdering him and "staging" the scene to look like a suicide.
Police sources said Lokendra, son of Ramesh Chandra, a resident of Rahmatpur Mafi, had gone to meet his girlfriend around 11am in another locality of the village today. By around noon, his family was informed that Lokendra's body was hanging from a noose inside the girl's house.
Shocked and panicked, Lokendra's family rushed to the scene. They claimed that upon arrival, they saw the girl attempting to cut the rope.
