Bulandshahr (UP), May 28 -- A youth accused of sexually assaulting a minor girl was arrested in an encounter with the police in Khurja Dehat area of Shahjahanpur district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Tejveer Singh said that based on an information Khurja Dehat police went to raid a tubewell in the jungle near Nangla Cheeti village in search of the accused of raping a minor girl on Tuesday night. "Seeing himself surrounded by the police, the criminal started firing at the police.
