Mirzapur (UP), Aug. 16 -- A youth and his mother were crushed to death after a motorcycle was hit by a trailer in Adalhat area of Mirzapur district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Saturday.
Police sources said that the incident took place when Kuldeep Singh (20), a resident of Mehua village in Chandauli district, was going to his maternal home in Gharwaspur yesterday evening with his mother Ruchi Devi (40) on his motorcycle.
"He was just turning from the road crossing near Sikiya village on the Varanasi-Sonbhadra highway when a trailer coming from Varanasi ran over both of them killing Kuldeep and Ruchi Devi died on the spot," they said.
