Bhubaneswar, Sept. 26 -- Young entrepreneurs who transformed their skills into successful enterprises and contributed to Odisha's socio-economic growth were felicitated at a special function today.
Odisha Skill Development & Technical Education Minister Sampad Chandra Swain felicitated the achievers at the World Skill Centre, Bhubaneswar.
Addressing the gathering, the Minister said Odisha has laid strong emphasis on skill development and entrepreneurship as the twin pillars of socio-economic transformation.
While skill development empowers youth with employable capabilities, entrepreneurship enables them to become job creators. "Both are central to building a Viksit and Samruddha Odisha," he added.
