Hyderabad, Sept. 2 -- The 4-day 79th Yonex-Sunrise South Zone Inter State Badminton Championships 2025 organised by the Heartfulness Gopichand Badminton Academy (HGBA) began at Kanha Shanti Vanam the global headquarters of Heartfulness today.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Telangana IT Minister and Badminton Association of Telangana (BAT) president Duddilla Sridhar Babu and BAT general secretary and national chief coach of Badminton Pullela Gopichand.
About 250 top players from across the South Zonal states -- Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana -- are participating in the championships which will conclude on September 5.
