Varanasi, April 3 -- On the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered prayers to Lord Shiva in Varanasi where he bowed his head in reverence at Kashi Kotwal Kaal Bhairav and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

As Goraksha Peethadheeshwar, the CM performed Darshan-Pooja at Kashi Kotwal Kaal Bhairav before proceeding to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where he conducted rituals by tradition. In the temple's sanctum sanctorum, he performed the Shodashopachar Puja and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people of Uttar Pradesh.

It may be noted that he had previously performed Puja-Archan at Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Kashi Kotwal Kaal Bhairav, and Annapurna Mata Temple on March 12.
