Lucknow, Jan. 30 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Shaheed Smarak on the banks of the Gomti River in Lucknow on Shaheed Diwas on Thursday to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi.
The CM honoured the valiant martyrs of the freedom struggle, lighting lamps in the river to pray for national unity and peace.
A special bhajan evening was organised on the occasion, creating a deeply devotional atmosphere. Renowned singers performed soul-stirring bhajans, including Shri Ram Chandra Kripalu Bhaj Man, Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye and Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram.
Yogi lit a ceremonial lamp and offered prayers to Maa Gomti.
