Gorakhpur, March 14 -- Gorakh Peethadheeshwar and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday began the Holi celebrations by performing the traditional worship of Holika Bhasma at Gorakhnath Temple.
Amidst Vedic chanting, the CM offered prayers near the sacred ashes of Holika Dahan in the temple's fairground and performed Aarti. Following the ritual, saints and devotees received his blessings as he applied tilak with the consecrated ash and exchanged Holi greetings.
