Bengaluru, April 6 -- In a move aimed at strengthening mental resilience and operational readiness within the armed forces, 99 defence personnel have been trained as yoga instructors under a "Train the Trainer" programme at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.

The 15-day Classical Hatha Yoga programme, conducted by Sadhguru Gurukulam from March 23 to April 6, saw participation from 78 Indian Navy and 21 Indian Army personnel. The trained batch is now expected to carry these practices back to their respective units, creating a multiplier effect across defence establishments.
