Bengaluru, July 26 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's son and Congress MLC Yathindra Siddaramaiah stirred controversy today by stating that his father has contributed more to Mysuru's development than the region's iconic monarch, Nalvadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar.
Speaking to reporters in Mysuru amid the Congress party's ongoing 'Sadhana Samavesha', Yathindra asserted that the developmental work undertaken under his father's leadership equalled, if not exceeded, the progress made during the rule of Nalvadi Wodeyar, who is revered for his pre-Independence reforms.
