Chennai, Nov. 3 -- A fine century by middleorder batsman Yash Rathod and a breezyunbeaten half century by speedster Nachiket Bhute towards the end, helped Vidarbhasecure a 210-run first innings lead against Tamil Nadu at close on the third day of theElite Group A league match in the Ranji Trophy cricket tournament at Coimbatore today.
Resuming at 211 for two, the visitors were all out for 501 in 148.4 overs, with Rathod andskipper Akshay Wadkar involving in a crucial fifth wicket stand, before Bhute providedthe final thrust with a breezy knock in the end, as Vidarbha slipped from 423 for four in131 overs to 501 all out in 148.4 overs.
They lost their last six wickets for 78 runs in 17.5 overs.
