Chennai, Dec. 11 -- As part of its commitment towards Environmental Sustainability,auto major India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt.Ltd. today announced the complete restorationof the abanadoned Vadagal Lake at Sriperumbudur in Kancheepuram district of TamilNadu and handed it over to the local administration.
The special ceremony witnessed the presence of Mr. Atsushi Nagashima, CorporateDirector, Yamaha Motor India along with Tahsildar and team members.
Spanning over 13 acres, the Vadagal Lake, an important natural resource for nearbyvillages in Sriperumbudur was abandoned for years.
