Imphal, April 18 -- X Polo Cup has won the 31st Governor's Cup Invitation Polo Tournament, 2025, while Imphal Riding Club has won the 20th Governor's Cup Women's Polo Tournament, 2025.
X Polo Club defeated Manipur Police Sports Club 5 -2 in the final match played here at Mapal Kangjeibung ( Polo ground) on Friday. In the women's final IRC defeated Assam Rifles Women team 7-6. Both the teams were tied 6-6 in the allotted and extra time was added in which IRC managed to score a golden goal.
Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, along with the First Lady, graced the closing ceremony of the tournament organized by Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association.
