Dubai, May 15 -- With less than a month to go for the ICC World Test Championship Final between South Africa and Australia at Lord's, the International Cricket Council on Thursday announced a record-breaking prize pool of USD 5.76 million for the 2023-25 cycle - more than double the amount offered in previous editions. The champions of the June 11 marquee clash will take home USD 3.6 million, a sharp increase from the USD 1.6 million awarded in both 2021 and 2023, while the runners-up will pocket USD 2.16 million, up from USD 800,000.
