Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 25 -- The Kerala State Human Rights Commission (KSHRC) has directed that legal action against the pharmaceutical company which supplied the wrong cancer medicine to the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) should be completed without any delay and in strict compliance with legal procedures.
The direction was issued by Commission Chairperson Justice Alexander Thomas in a suo motu case registered by the Commission based on media reports concerning the incident. The Commission had earlier ordered a detailed investigation into the matter, considering the serious implications involved.
