Agartala, March 11 -- Tripura has made a comprehensive progress in tourism under BJP-IPFT government's rule, claimed Tourism minister Pranjit Singha Roy today after releasing the report card.

He said for the first time in the history of Tripura 'International Tourism Mart' was held with 53 foreign and 150 Indian tourism entrepreneurs, which gave international exposure of the state.

A team of non-resident Indians extensively toured Tripura between January 27 and February 5 this year as part of government of India's 'Know India' program launched for foreigners. They gathered good experience in the state and this may yield dividends for the state in future.
