New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated 'SEMICON India 2025', marking a major step in India's ambition to emerge as a global semiconductor hub.
The PM said, ''The world believes in India and the world is ready to build the semiconductor future with India.''Addressing the gathering at Semicon India 2025, he noted that India is moving forward with determination in its journey of development, even as the global economy faces challenges.
Highlighting India's strong performance, the Prime Minister said that with a GDP growth of 7.8 per cent and robust progress across sectors such as manufacturing, services, agriculture, and construction, the nation is firmly on track to become the world's third-largest economy.
