Chennai, Aug. 1 -- In a remarkable display of community service and maternal healthcare support,
more than 40 Rotary Clubs and Club First Ladies across Chennai District 3234 have joined hands for
the RAW 2 ( Rotary Action for Women 2) Maternity kits distribution initiative.
Curated by First Lady Rtn Usha Saraogi and implemented by the Women's Health team led by Rtn
Dr Susan Verghese and Rtn Suryanarayana Rao Director CSH, they are targeting 1000 kits to be
distributed to Government hospitals during World Breast Feeding week being celebrated from today
till August 5.
These maternity kits will benefit antenatal and postnatal mothers, to promote breastfeeding awareness and maternal health.
