Ranchi, July 30 -- A delegation of the World Bank led by India Country Director Auguste Tano Kouame met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Jharkhand Bhawan in New Delhi today.
The meeting focused on ongoing development programmes in the state and the possibility of future collaboration.
Kouame took note of the Mukhyamantri Mahiyaan Samman Yojana and acknowledged its role in the state's efforts toward poverty reduction.
He also shared observations on World Bank-supported initiatives in other parts of India and expressed interest in working with Jharkhand on similar lines.
