Jammu, March 16 -- The woollen clothes are out once again as the temperature has dipped after a fresh spell of snow on higher reaches and rain in the plains across the Jammu region.

The Jammu district, however, recorded a 19.5-degree Celsius maximum temperature and an 11.5-degree Celsius minimum temperature.

Officials said that the hilly places Banihal recorded a minimum temperature of 4.5 degree Celsius, Katra recorded 8.8 degree Celsius, Bhaderwah 3.5 degree Celsius and Kathua 10.4 degree Celsius.

Meanwhile, the upper reaches of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan also received a fresh spell of snow, while the Katra-Sanjichhat Chopper service remained hit due to the hailstorm and fog, said officials.
